Material
Yarn: Sport weight, cotton yarn in three colours: A for the body, B for the hooves, mane and tail and C for the horn. Small amount of black yarn for eyes (if you don’t use safety eyes).
Crochet Hooks: 2.5 mm for the unicorn and 1.0 mm for the horn.
Other material: Fiberfill for stuffing, 6 mm safety eyes (optional), tapestry needle, stitch markers, scissors.
Gauge
24 stitches and 20 rows in single crochet worked in the round= 10 cm.
Finished Measurements
Aprox. 17 cm (6.7 in) long and 21 cm (8.3 in) tall.

The pattern is written in US terminology.
mc: magic circle
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
inc: increase 1 st. (2 sc in the same st)
inc2: increase 2 sts. (3 sc in the same st)
dec: decrese 1 st
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
sl st: slip stitch
st(s): stitch(es)
{…}: repeat instructions between {}
(…): total number of sts of the round
If you change the colours and omit the horn you can use the same pattern to make a horse.
