General terms

Our company, under the trade mark KOUVARAKIA, which will henceforth be referred to as company, is a Greek sole proprietorship, registered with the Athens Chamber of Commerce with Registration Number 189250 and operates the online store www.kouvarakia.gr which will henceforth be referred to as a website.

The website provides visitors/ users/members with services related to its professional activity, ie it provides information about the products it contains, as well as the ability to use communication tools, search services, online ordering, etc.

Our company considers that the visitors/users/members of the website have read these terms of use and have accepted them unconditionally. The company reserves the right to unilaterally modify the content and terms of use of the website, when deemed necessary, without prior notice, and by publishing them on the website.

Personal information we collect and why

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Protection of minors

The collection, use and disposal of personal data of minors is done only with the express written consent of the parents or their guardians. However, the Company does not bear any responsibility in case of false submission of data when completing the registration application.

How do we use your personal information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).


When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the feedback form as well as the visitor’s IP address and the browser user string to help detect unwanted messages.

An anonymous string created by your email address (also called a “hash”) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public within your comment box.


If you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and export any location data from images on the site.

Communication Forms


If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and site address to cookies. These are for your own convenience, so you do not have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment.

Parts of the site may contain embedded content (eg videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor visited the other site.

These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, incorporate additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with this included content, including tracking your interaction with the included content, if you have a specific account and if you loged in to that particular site.

Who do we share your information with

Google Analytics

Data Used: order number, product id and name, product category, total cost, and quantity of items purchased. Activity Tracked: This feature sends page view events (and potentially video play events ) over to Google Analytics for consumption. Additional events sent to Google Analytics: shopping cart additions and removals, product listing views and clicks, product detail views, and purchases.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

How long do we keep your information?

Cookies will be stored for one year from the last use of the website, unless you delete them at will.

If you leave a comment, its content and metadata are retained indefinitely. This is done so that we can automatically recognize and approve the comments that follow, instead of keeping them in line.

For users who register on our site, we also store the personal data they enter in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal data at any time (except changing their username). The administrators of this site may also view and edit this information.

Rights you have on your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you may request that you obtain an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You may also request that we delete the personal information we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Limitation of Liability

The company can not guarantee the availability of the displayed and ordered products. It undertakes, however, to inform consumers, within a reasonable period of time from the placement of the order, of their non-availability.

The company bears no responsibility of timely product delivery in cases of force majeure, eg bad weather, strikes, etc.

The company reserves the right for any technical or typographical errors that may have occurred unintentionally or due to interruptions of the website due to force majeure. The company also has reservations about the performance of colors, as it is not possible to accurately render a natural color on the screen.

The company is not responsible for technical problems that may arise during the visit to the site, related to the operation or compatibility of the infrastructure, as well as the lack of usability of the site, the visitor / user / member.

Finally, the company is not responsible for acts or omissions of third parties in products or information available through the website.

Obligations of visitor / user / member

Visitors / users / members are required to use the site in accordance with the law and to not engage in actions that may cause harm or malfunction.
