This Sweet Rainbow is perfect for decoration and it will bring a lot of joy to a kid’s room, nursery room or any other room of your home. It’s a quick and sweet gift idea for any occasion and of course it can be done as a very cute baptism favor.


Pattern Information

Materials
Yarn: Fingering weight (50gr/125m) cotton yarn in purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red
and white. Small amount of black embroidery thread for the smile.
For my sample I use Scheepjes Catona in the colorways: Garden Rose (251), Bluebird (247), Apple Granny (513), Lemon (280), Sweet Orange (411), Hot Red (115) and Snow White (106).
Crochet Hook: 2.5 mm crochet hook.
Notions: Fiberfill for stuffing, 8 mm safety eyes, pins, tapestry needle, stitch marker and scissors.

Gauge
28 stitches and 27 rows in single crochet worked in the round, with 2.5 mm crochet hook = 10 cm.
Gauge is not important for this project. However, changes might affect the finished measurements and the safety eyes size.

Finished Measurements
Approx. 10 cm (2.7 in) tall and 15 cm (4 in) wide.

Difficulty
Easy. Basic crochet and sewing skills required.

This pattern is written in US terminology.
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
standing sc: place the slip knot on hook and make the stitch as normal
inc: increase 1 st (2 sc in the same st)
dc: double crochet
blo: back loops only
flo: front loops only

WS: wrong side
