Mushrooms

These cute little mushrooms will be a wonderful accessory to a woodland theme nursery or for your Autumn home decoration. You can add a string on the top and use them as an ornament for a baby mobile or your Christmas tree. And of course they can be adorable quick gifts.


Pattern Information

Materials
Yarn: Fingering weight (50gr/125m) cotton yarn in rust (25gr/62.5m), beige (20gr/50m) and
white (5gr/12.5m).
For my sample I use Scheepjes Catona in the colorways: Rust (388), Linen (505) and Snow White (106).
Crochet Hook: 2.5 mm crochet hook.
Notions: Fiberfill for stuffing, pins, tapestry needle, stitch marker and scissors.

Gauge
28 stitches and 27 rows in single crochet worked in the round, with 2.5 mm crochet hook = 10 cm.
Gauge is not important for this project. However, changes might affect the finished measurements.

Finished Measurements
The small mushroom is 8.5 cm (3.4 in) tall and the large is 11.5 cm (4.5 in) tall.

Difficulty
Easy. Basic crochet, embroidery and sewing skills required.
