Last summer I discovered tatting and decided to try it.
I bought the above shuttles, watched some videos with instructions and managed to make my first small motives.
It takes patience but if you understand how knots are made it is not difficult, but it will take a lot of practice and strong nerves because mistakes do not undone easily.
The above pattern, although it has many imperfections, I wanted to use it somewhere. First as a reminder of my first steps in a the craft, which I hope I will learn better. Secondly because I want to combine it with another craft, which I am also starting to learn. But I will talk about this in another post.
