Written Instructions

Pumpkin

With CA, cast on 45 sts. (Leave a long tail at the beginning to sew the top closed when finished). Place marker and join in the round, being careful not to twist your sts.

Rounds 1-20: 20 rnds. [k4, p1] around. (45 sts).

The next round will create the eyelets that you need for the safety eyes. If you don’t want to use safety eyes just repeat Round 1.

Round 21: [k4, p1] 3 times, k1, k2tog, yo, k1, p1, k4, p1, k1, yo, k2tog, k1, p1, [k4, p1] 3 times. (45 sts).

Rounds 22-41: 20 rnds. [k4, p1] around. (45 sts).

Bind off all sts.

Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.

Stalk

With CB, make a 4 sts wide I-cord, for 2 cm.

Spread the sts into more double point needles and work the following rounds.

Round 1: kfb all sts. (8 sts).

Bind off all sts.
