This lovely, easy scarf uses a two row pattern repeat and it’s perfect for beginners who want to try something new. The twisted rib scarf is a quick project and you can easily alter the dimensions.

Pattern Information

Materials
Yarn: 3 balls of Scheepjes Chunky Monkey (100% Acrylic, 100gr/116m).
The sample was made using colorway: Golden Yellow (1114).
Needles: 7.00 mm needles.
Notions: Tapestry needle and scissors.

Gauge
22 stitches and 15 rows to 10 cm (4 in) in Twisted Ribbing Pattern.
Gauge is not important for this project. However, changes might affect the finished measurements and the yardage requirement.

Finished Measurements
Approx. 20 cm wide x 175 cm long (8 in x 69 in).

Difficulty
Easy. Basic knitting skills required.

Abbreviations
k: knit
p: purl
sl: slip stitch purl-wise
tbl: through back loop
(…): repeat enclosed instructions the amount of times indicated
