Gingerbread Man

This cute Gingerbread Man will be a jolly addition to your Christmas decorations. The pattern is easy and fun to make and it is perfect for an easy and quick gift.


Pattern Information

Materials
Yarn: Sport weight (50gr/130m) yarn in brown and white.
For my sample I use Scheepjes Stone Washed in the colorways: Brown Agate (822) and Moon Stone (801).
Needles: 2.5 mm double pointed needles.
Notions: Toy stuffing, 10 mm safety eyes, pins, tapestry needle, locking stitch markers, stitch holder and scissors.

Gauge
28 stitches and 40 rounds to 10 cm (4 in) in Stockinette St in the round.
Gauge is not important for this project. However, changes might affect the finished measurements and the safety eyes size.

Finished Measurements
Approx. 20 cm (7.9 in) tall. 

Difficulty
Easy. Basic knitting and sewing skills required.

Abbreviations
k: knit
kfb: knit into the front and back (increase)
k2tog: knit 2 together (decrease)
p: purl
rnds: rounds
st(sts): stitch (stitches)
[…]: repeat enclosed instructions the amount of times indicated
(…): total number of sts of the round and/or additional information
