Ollie The Lion – Wrath:

Ollie is a peaceful lion and very likable, well most of the time anyway. He normally likes to make a cup of tea, curled up in his chair and knit while listening to his favourite music. But if he finds a mistake in his work, you wouldn’t like to be anywhere near him. A single drop stitch is enough to transform him to a wild beast.

– Ollie, what did you do! Look at all that mess! It was nothing but a little mistake, you can’t even tell where it is. Come on, pull yourself together and I will make you a cup of tea while you clean up and then we will fix your knitting.

Materials
Yarn: Fingering weight, cotton yarn in yellow, brown and white.
For my sample I use Scheepjes Catona in the colorways: Yellow Gold (208), Chocolate (507) and Snow White (106).
Crochet Hook: 2.5 mm crochet hook.
Notions: Fiberfill for stuffing, 8 mm safety eyes, pins, tapestry needle, stitch marker, scissors.

Gauge
26 stitches and 27 rows in single crochet worked in the round, with 2.5 mm crochet hook = 10 cm.
Gauge is not important for this project. However, changes might affect the finished measurements and the safety eyes size.

Finished Measurements
Approx. 14 cm (5.5 in) tall.
