This time of year hearts are everywhere and could not be missing from here.
Today I have instructions for you to make this hearts. They are easy and fast to crochet. For a heart, about 6 cm long, you will need crochet hook number 4 and acrylic thread.
For the bigger hearts I used a bigger crochet hook.
Abbreviations
sc: single crochet
sc2tog: single crochet 2 together (decrease)
Start with the bumps
For the first bump:
Round 1: In magic circle work 6 sc. (6 sts).
Round 2: 2 sc in each st. (12 sts).
Rounds 3 and 4: 1 sc in each st. (12 sts).
Fasten off.
For the second bump.
Repeat rounds 1 to 4. Do not fasten off.
Round 5: Join the two bumps. Work 1 sc in each st and the continue to the first one and work 1 sc in each st. (24 sts).
Round 6: 1 sc in each st. (24 sts).
Round 7: *4 sc, sc2tog* repeat 3 more times. (20 sts).
Round 8: *3 sc, sc2tog* repeat 3 more times. (16 sts).
Round 9: *2 sc, sc2tog* repeat 3 more times. (12 sts).
Round 10: 1 sc in each st. (12 sts).
Round 11: *1 sc, sc2tog* repeat 3 more times. (8 sts).
Stuff the hart with fiberfill.
Round 12: *sc2tog* repeat 3 more times. (4 sts).
fasten off, leave a long tail. Weave the tail through the last sts and close the hole, weave in the end. Sew the hole between the bumps and hide the ends.
Make enough to give tomorrow to the people you love. You can combine them with a ribbon to make a garland or fill bowls with hearts to decorate your home.
