gift-box

Every year I try to add some new handmade ornaments on our Christmas decoration. Of course this year was not going to be an exception, so a few crochet gift boxes and a polar bear came to join us.

For the bear I use white cotton yarn and I follow this pattern. For the scarf ch 41 (or as many stitches as you will need for it to go around the bear’s neck), turn and work a sc in each one of the stitches.

For the gift box I use the pattern below

Abbreviations:

ch : chain

sc : single crochet

sc3tog : single crochet 3 together (decrease)

sc2tog : single crochet 2 together (decrease)
