April is the birthday month of my youngest son, he just turned 9. So I decided that this month’s sock should belong to him.
For this pair I used superba poems by Rico design in the 006 colour, left over yarn from my march socks.
This time I didn’t follow a pattern. I made a cuff down, vanilla sock, using the measurement of my son’s foot to calculate how many stitches to cast on.
They ended up a little shorter than they should have (the fit, but barely), so my plan is to frog the toes and add a couple of centimetres to the foot. Or, maybe I will give this pair to my nephew and make another one for my son. I am not sure yet.
